President Judith Alce and Yorkshire President Pat Shore, including members, family and friends from Wakefield and other Yorkshire Clubs took part in a fundraising event, with the assistance of the Management of Greens Health Club Wakefield.

Pump Aid was founded in Zimbabwe ten years ago this October. Since then both Pump Aid and Zimbabwe have changed dramatically.

World Water Day on the 22nd March is an opportunity to raise awareness to the number of people still living without adequate water and sanitation facitilies.
Pump Aid has managed to provide over 1 million people with access to clean water. However there are still over 1 billion people across the world who do not have this basic facility.
