As usual Worthing High School has continued their excellent reputation for charity fundraising events. Students and staff held fundraising events for an entire week! They were involved in various fundraising activities which included guess the number of sweets in a jar; cake sales; football tournaments; karaoke and the student’s favourite – throwing wet sponges at the teachers!
All monies raised went to Pump Aid, the charity which the current Year 8 students are supporting, and other charities that are linked to Worthing High.
Matt Croft, Leader of Year 8 said, “As always our students and staff have risen to the challenge of participating and helping at these events which benefit others. We have managed to raise over £1,000 which will go a long way to support these charities."
