Pump Aid Win the World Bank Development Marketplace Competition
Ian Thorpe and Mutsa Chironga receive their trophy as winners of the World Bank Development Marketplace Competition from Bank President, Paul Wolfowitz
Pump Aid has emerged as a winner in the Development Marketplace
Competition out of over 2,500 projects in the sector of water and energy
nominated from 254 countries. The trophy was presented to Ian Thorpe
and Mutsa Chironga of Pump Aid by the President of the World Bank Paul
Wolfowitz. This follows on from Pump Aid winning the St Andrews Prize
for the Environment last year.
